Update Firmware on LG

You can update firmware in your device directly from our editor site.

Navigate to the Devices menu and select the device where you wish to update firmware.

  • In the details tab, select settings, scroll down until you find the Advanced controls modal.
  • Select Update firmware
  • Here you will see a box where you have to place the firmware url
  • It will start a background process, it will not disturb the currently playing content
  • When the process finishes, it will restart the device, then finalize the firmware update.
    • It will take a few minutes.
  • After the device finished the update, it will restart once more.

To update firmware on LG devices, you have to log in to your account in partner.lge.com to download other LG WebOs versions.
