UI Profile rules
A UI Profile rule controls whether a specific element of the interface — a menu, tab, button, or action — is shown to or hidden from a user. Rules are organized by the UI area they belong to, mirroring the product's menus. Each area has its own page (below), which lists that area's rules together with the default value for each user role.

How these rules behave
- Setting a rule to hide removes the affected modal or functionality from the user.
- Hiding a See permission on a folder or menu disables everything beneath it, because those items become inaccessible.
- Some rules affect related management permissions.
- A UI Profile preset can be overridden by a user's own individual UI Profile settings.
