Find your statistics in the new Analytics menu

In the Legacy UI, statistics were spread across several places — the Home screen, File manager, Settings, and the Administrator menu — and you exported them as CSV files. The new UI brings reporting together under one Analytics menu, split into two tools:

  • Proof of Play — playback reporting: what played, where, and for how long.
  • Device Metrics — device hardware and network telemetry (the old Device Analytics).
Please note

The Legacy UI Analytics and statistics are being retired (July–August 2026), and the Legacy UI is removed completely at the end of 2026.

Your history carries over

Your existing proof-of-play history is available in Analytics → Proof of Play — you don't need to export it before the switch. Proof of Play data is kept for up to one year and viewed in 3-month windows.

One thing to set up: enable reporting on your content

The Legacy UI collected asset statistics on its own. In the new UI, content and slide playback is tracked automatically, but for asset- and widget-level detail you turn reporting on where the content is built:

  • In the Content or Slide editor, enable Widget statistics and/or Asset statistics. Enable both if you want both levels.
  • Media files played in a playlist need Media asset proof of play enabled to be counted.

Do this on the content you want detailed reports for, so the data is there when you open Proof of Play.

How to pull a report

  1. Open Analytics → Proof of Play.
  2. Choose what to report on — devices, contents, media files, advertisers, channels, sub-channels, or custom statistics.
  3. Narrow it with the tag search and the time-interval selector, then set Group by.
  4. Download each Group by as a CSV, or download the chart as a PNG.

Good to know

  • Proof of Play records are linked by internal ID, not name, so renaming an item keeps its history.
  • If an entity is removed, its proof-of-play data is deleted with it.
  • Duplicating a content does not copy the original's proof-of-play data — the copy has a new ID and starts fresh.
  • For hardware and network health (uptime, CPU, memory, storage, network), use Device Metrics rather than Proof of Play.

Result

Your reporting now lives in one place — Analytics — with playback in Proof of Play and device health in Device Metrics, and your existing proof-of-play history carried over.
