Behaviour

  • If you turn off the Animated function elements in the active campaigns will just switch to the next element instead of animating out and in similar to Gallery widget's animation.
Please note

If you are using widget animation please consider page timing! Pages are advised to have at least 5 second length to show up properly.

  • In the Animation selector you can choose between the animation types. You can set the delay time and the animation length here.

Automatic vs Manual mode

  • You can change if the widget plays the items in the campaign playlist automatically with the Automatic display switch.

  • If you switch on On-demand display you can interact with the widget, and navigate the playlist with another widget based on Manual display type.

  • Manual display type can be: amount or time. Amount is a set number from the campaign item playlist, and time is a set duration of time which is allocated to items.

  • Hardware Accelerated Player option manages the video playback behavior.

  • You can also Choose placeholder Content, and a page from it, which will show up as a default page , when there is no available campaigns to play. If you do not choose a placeholder, then Campaign widget will not show up if there are no campaign elements to play.

Campaign tags

  • With the Campaign tags option you can add widget tags separated by commas into the campaign widget by using the Widget tags you can set while creating campaigns in the Settings >> Campaigns menu.
    • if the Match all tags option is enabled, all the entered tags must be an exact match with the widget tags of the campaigns.
For example
  • You created a campaign with a Widget tag: "APPLE"
  • You created another campaign with a Widget tag: "BANANA"
  • You created a third campaign with two Widget tags: ˇAPPLEˇ and "BANANA"

Then you filled the Campaign tags: box with both of the tags like this:

  • If the Match all tags option is disabled then the campaign widget will play all the 3 campaigns because all created campaign matches at least 1 tag from the box.

    • But if you enable the Match all tags option, then only 1 campaign will be played because only 1 matched both of the tags from the Campaign tags: box.
  • If the With tags only is option enabled, and the campaign tags box is empty, then the campaign will not play anything until the box contains at least 1 tag. If the option is disabled, and the box does not contain any tags then all active campaigns will be played in the widget until at least 1 element is entered.

Please note

The tags you can add to the Campaign tags box are not compatible with the Screen tags; they will only function with the tags from the Widget tags field of the campaign.
