Calendar merger

The Calendar merger is a system datasource that combines several calendars into a single event list. Use it when one screen should show the events of more than one calendar, for example two meeting rooms side by side, or a Google calendar and an Office 365 calendar together.

It works on Calendar datasources you already have. It does not connect to any calendar service itself.

What it does

  • Combines 2 to 10 calendars. You can select any Calendar datasource, whether it reads an iCalendar feed, a Google calendar or an Office 365 calendar.
  • Sorts the events by start time, across all the selected calendars.
  • Lists an event once when the same event, with the same event ID, comes from more than one calendar.
  • Updates on its own. Whenever one of the selected calendars refreshes, the merged list is rebuilt shortly afterwards. That is why the Calendar merger has no refresh settings of its own: how often it updates depends on the refresh settings of the calendars you select.

The result has the same event format as a Calendar datasource, so you bind its events to Widgets the same way.
