Supported Samsung devices
As a general guideline JSCore supports simple Samsung Smart Signage devices with Tizen 4.0 / 5.0 / 6.5 / 7.
If you're unable to locate the model line up in this article, it's probable that the device is not a signage device from Samsung and, consequently, may not be compatible with Wallboard.
Commercial and Hotel TV devices are not compatible with the Wallboard application. The list below includes the model lineup that are likely recognized as signage devices.
SSSP vs Tizen : What is the difference?
Starting with Tizen 6.5, Samsung is not releasing any further enhancements to the Samsung Smart Signage Platform (SSSP), and the SSSP is going to be deprecated starting with Tizen 7.5.
To fulfill the needs of Samsung signage partners and to replace the SSSP, Samsung has launched new Tizen Samsung Product APIs in Tizen 6.5. These new Tizen APIs are extensions of the Tizen Web Device API.

List of supported Samsung model line ups by platform
Unique series like QMR-T are not entirely supported. We cannot guarantee that unique features like touch, dual-screen, and others will work properly with our client.
Make sure, to test these specific series before purchasing a huge number of devices.
Other limitations include:
- Reversed type screen orientations are not implemented on Samsung devices.
- At or below Tizen 6.5 devices you can set rotation, Tizen 7 devices have automatic screen rotation

How does Our Samsung Client work?
Our Samsung client is a full-screen HTML browser that also allows for a number of functionalities such as:
- Control the device and the performance of the client application
- Communicate with content inside the Wallboard CMS
- Maintain the system
Since our application communicates with our server it is mandatory to enable the WIFI or Ethernet connection for communication.
