Special cases and platform-specific issues

Brightsign

  • The GPIO sensoring no longer works without sensor configuration and an ENTERPRISE license.

LG

  • On devices with WebOS version 4.0 there the webView aspect ratio can get stuck when changing the device rotation back and forth.
This will cause video and stream players to show with incorrect sizes.
Only factory resetting the device can fix this issue.

Samsung

  • On legacy Samsung applications, the device's storage can become full, which prevents it from downloading the application file from the server.
This may appear as if the command isn't reaching the device.
In such cases, the only viable solution is to perform a factory reset, followed by installing the latest version of the JSCore application
