How to create Alerts?

Step 1: Create a Notification Channel

More about Notification Channels and Alert Rules

  1. Navigate to Settings > Alerts > Notification Channels.
  2. Click Add New Notification Channel.
  3. Enter a Name for the channel.
  4. Select the Type (e.g., Email) and add recipient email addresses.
  5. Save the notification channel.

Step 2: Set Up Alert Rules

  1. Navigate to Settings > Alerts > Alert Rules.
  2. Click Add New Alert Rule.
  3. Name the rule (e.g., "Screen Offline").
  4. Set the Condition (e.g., triggers when a screen goes offline).
  5. Select the Notification Channel you created earlier.
  6. Define the Threshold (e.g., how long the screen must be offline before an alert is sent).
  7. Save the alert rule.

Step 3: Test the Configuration

  • You may want to simulate an offline scenario to confirm that alerts are received correctly.
