Page Selector menu

By utilizing the Page Selector Menu, users can efficiently manage their contents, enhance team collaboration, and maintain an organized workspace.

  • Select one or more items within the Contents menu.
    • The Page Selector Menu will automatically appear, displaying the available options.

 

Manage teams

Select the Team Assignment option from the Page Selector Menu.

  • Choose the desired teams from the list of available teams.
  • The selected items will be assigned to the chosen team for collaboration.

 

Move to folder

Click on the Move to Folder option in the Page Selector Menu.

  • Select the destination folder from the list of available folders.
  • The selected items will be moved to the specified folder.

 

Settings

Select the Settings option from the Page Selector Menu, it will navigate you to a settings page dedicated to the selected devices.

DEVICE

You can set these device based settings on all devices simultaneously - More info about these actions
  • Display on/off
  • Emergency state on/off
  • Lock / Unlock device
  • Set tags
  • Screen orientation - Device limitations on Samsung devices may result in unsuccessful completion.
  • Move to folder
  • Bind data
  • Volume control
  • Brightness control
  • Teams
  • Device location
  • Update application - Previously set update version limit may result in unsuccessful completion.
  • Restart device
  • LICENSE

    Here, you can set the same license type for all devices.

    The license change may fail
    • If there are not enough unused licenses of this type available on the server.
    • If at least 1 device has a license that has shorter payment interval than the one you want to change

    DEVICES THAT ARE ELIGIBLE FOR SENSOR CONFIGURATIONS WILL RECEIVE THE CHANGE.

    AVAILABILITY SCHEDULE

    Here you can apply working hours and reboot time to the selected devices.

    CONTENT

    You can set these content based settings on all devices simultaneously - More info about these actions
  • Assign Content - If the license is below the required level, the content will be assigned only to the eligible screens.
  • Assign Emergency content - If the license is below the required level, the content will be assigned only to the eligible screens.
  • Refresh content
  • Pre-cache content
  • Load page
  • Clear cache
  • CONSOLE

    Sensor config - More info about Sensor config
    Sensor config cannot be set on devices with a license type lower than Enterprise.

    If the list of selected devices contains at least one device with this limitation, the sensor configuration cannot be applied to that device.


    DEVICES THAT ARE ELIGIBLE FOR SENSOR CONFIGURATIONS WILL RECEIVE THE CONFIGURATION.

    Client application specific Advanced configurations may cause malfunction in your device

    If the list of selected devices contains devices with different client application, make sure the advanced configuration you use is suitable for all devices.

    • Otherwise, the device may attempt to apply configurations that are unsuitable, that may cause malfunction or crash.

    ALL SELECTED DEVICES WILL RECEIVE THE CONFIGURATION, REGARDLESS OF THEIR TYPE OR CLIENT APPLICATION.

    Client application specific User commands may cause malfunction in your device

    If the list of selected devices contains devices with different client application, make sure the user command you use is suitable for all devices.

    • Otherwise, the device may attempt to apply commands that are unsuitable, that may cause malfunction or crash.

    ALL SELECTED DEVICES WILL RECEIVE THE COMMANDS, REGARDLESS OF THEIR TYPE OR CLIENT APPLICATION.

    DO NOT SAVE THE UPDATE FIRMWARE MODAL IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE TYPES OF DEVICES SELECTED!

    Each device has its own firmware, which is not suitable for other devices.


    ALL SELECTED DEVICES WILL RECEIVE THE COMMANDS, REGARDLESS OF THEIR TYPE OR CLIENT APPLICATION.


    If you wish to use this modal with the selected items, check the following things before proceed

    • The selected devices have the same TYPE AND MODEL
    Example
    • You have selected only 4 Brightsign (type) HD5 (model).

      In this case the Modal can be saved.

    • You have selected 3 Brightsign (type) HD5 (model) and a Brightsign (type) XD3 (model).

      In this case the models are not the same, they need different firmware URLs to proceed the installation. The modal should not be saved!!


    BRIGHTSIGN DEVICES ARE VERY SENSITIVE TO FIRMWARE ISSUES. IF THE WRONG FIRMWARE IS APPLIED, THE DEVICE MIGHT ENTER A BOOT LOOP!

    Wrong installer will not work IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE TYPES OF DEVICES SELECTED
    • Certain devices may be unable to process this request due to an incompatible installer.

    ALL SELECTED DEVICES WILL RECEIVE THE INSTALLER, REGARDLESS OF THEIR TYPE OR CLIENT APPLICATION.

    BRIGHTSIGN DEVICES MAY CRASH IF THE WRONG APPLICATION INSTALLER IS APPLIED!

    Wrong application version applied

    If multiple typed of devices are selected, do not apply version limit on them.


    ALL SELECTED DEVICES WILL RECEIVE THE VERSION LIMIT, REGARDLESS OF THEIR TYPE OR CLIENT APPLICATION.

    BRIGHTSIGN DEVICES MAY CRASH IF THE VERSION LIMIT IS APPLIED!
