Dynamic font size

Dynamic font size is a feature that allows text within widgets to automatically adjust its size to fill the available space without resizing the widget itself.

  • This means that the text can grow or shrink based on the dimensions of the widget, ensuring optimal visibility and fit.

Where can I find it?​

You can find the dynamic font size feature in the Font settings of the main widget properties.

  • To access it, navigate to the widget you want to edit, then look for the Font settings where you can enable and configure the dynamic font size settings.

How to use dynamic font size?​

To use dynamic font size, you can set the maximum font size that the text can inherit based on the widget's width and height. Additionally, you have the option to enable "No line break," which prevents the text from breaking into a new line, allowing it to adjust to the width of the widget instead.

What can I modify to make it better?​

To enhance the effectiveness of dynamic font size, you can consider the following settings:

Maximum Font Size​

Set a maximum font size that ensures the text remains legible while fitting within the widget. This helps maintain readability across different screen sizes.

No Line Break​

Enable the "No line break" option to prevent the text from wrapping to the next line.

  • This allows the text to adjust its size based on the widget's width, providing a cleaner look.

Line Height​

In the Text widget, when you enable Dynamic Font Size, you can modify the Line Height value.

  • This option allows you to adjust the vertical spacing of the text when using dynamic font sizing.

If you need to maintain the size of the widget but the text is not displaying as intended, modifying the Line Height value can help keep everything properly aligned and visible
